Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Permanent Nursery Educator to join our childcare team in Stratford, London. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment where young children can thrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development.
  • Support children’s emotional, social, and physical well-being in a safe, caring environment.
  • Maintain effective communication with parents and colleagues regarding children’s progress.
  • Supervise children during play, mealtimes, and outdoor activities to ensure constant safety.
  • Organize daily routines to ensure smooth transitions between activities.
  • Manage classroom resources efficiently and maintain a clean, organized environment.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating positive behavior and fostering a respectful atmosphere.
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to child records and activity planning.

Person Specification

  • Qualification: Level 3 qualification in Childcare or above (Early Years Degree, QTS, PGCE, or NNEB).
  • Knowledge: Strong EYFS knowledge with the ability to implement it across all activities.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a nursery or early childhood setting is highly desirable.
  • Skills: Proven leadership skills and strong communication skills in English (verbal and written).
  • Compliance: Deep understanding of early childhood education principles and childcare regulations.
