An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated Nursery Educator to join an outstanding day nursery setting in Crouch End, North London. Operating within the warm and nurturing environment of the Baby Room, this role allows a skilled Nursery Educator to foster early development, create inspiring learning environments, and give the nursery’s youngest children the best possible start in life.

Located in North London, this premium early years setting is dedicated to providing outstanding childcare and education. Inspired by the protective rainforest, the nursery provides a warm, safe, and nurturing environment where children aged 0–5 can thrive, explore, and grow.
Fully renovated in 2025, the state-of-the-art facility features thoughtfully designed age-appropriate rooms alongside specialist spaces, including a dedicated dining and home economics area for cooking programs, as well as a community space for extra-curricular activities.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Engaging Early Education: Plan, prepare, and deliver creative, age-appropriate activities tailored to the unique developmental stages of babies and young infants.
- Track & Support Development: Assess individual child progress using the EYFS framework, maintaining accurate developmental records and providing regular, constructive updates to parents.
- Create a Nurturing Environment: Foster an inclusive, secure, and stimulating room environment that encourages sensory exploration, curiosity, and emotional well-being.
- Collaborate & Connect: Work closely with colleagues, parents, and external specialists to coordinate high-quality care, share best practices, and build strong key-person relationships.
- Maintain Excellence: Adhere strictly to safeguarding, health and safety, and regulatory guidelines to ensure a safe, compliant, and high-performing setting.
Person Specification & Qualifications
- Qualified Early Years Professional: Full Level 3 (or above) qualification in Early Years / Childcare.
- Relevant Experience: At least 2 years’ experience working as a Nursery Educator or practitioner within a day nursery or children’s center setting (baby room experience highly desirable).
- Curriculum Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of the EYFS framework and a creative ability to implement it into daily activities.
- Certifications: Valid Paediatric First Aid certificate (or willingness to complete training prior to start date).
- Skills & Attributes: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, exceptional patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for early childhood development.
