NURSERY MANAGER – WATFORD

HOURS: 40 hours per week

SALARY: £30,000 to £50,000 per annum Depending on Experience and Qualifications

ABOUT THE ORGANISATION

Based in Watford a brand-new independent nursery tends to focus on personal connections, strong community ties, and a child-centered approach that honors each child’s individuality and pace.

THE ROLE & BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES

• Recruiting employees and providing ongoing training in best care practices
• Developing and maintaining the nursery budget
• Arranging marketing materials
• Monitoring the condition of the facility and equipment and organising maintenance, repairs and new items as required
• Updating parents and Carers about their child’s progress and behaviour
• Answering enquiries about enrolment, payments and practices
• Developing and implementing an age-appropriate program of annual events and activities
• Preparing the nursery for Ofsted inspections and following inspector recommendations

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Level 3 qualified candidate in childcare or above. (Level 3, T-Level, Early years degree, QTS, PGCE, NNEB)
• Has experience working with the children aged 3 months to 5 years old
• Have strong EYFS knowledge and be able to implement in all activities
• Have strong verbal and writing communication skills
• Paediatric first aid
