Level 3 Nursery Practitioner in in Northolt

Hours - 40 hrs per week over 4 days / 45 hrs per week over 5 days.

We are looking for a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner in Northolt that is friendly, polite, and professional for our Nursery.

Our client’s goal is to offer children an amazing educational experience from birth to pre-school, their most formative years. They focus on every unique child and our highly skilled and qualified teams provide the absolute best early year’s experience in a safe and stimulating environment.  

 Your duties as a Nursery Practitioner will be as follows.

  • Work as part of a team
  • Supervise the children

Do you have experience working with children with a range of SEND needs?

Quint Education are currently working with Specialist SEND school in Walthamstow - East London, who are looking for SEND Teachers to join their welcoming school. This is a specialist provision for pupils aged between 2-19 with a range of complex and significant learning needs in the area of cognition and learning (with co-occurring conditions). This includes learners with autistic spectrum conditions and those with complex physical and sensory impairments.

As a SEND Teacher, you will be working with children with a range of needs including ASD, PMLD and physical needs, experience in this area would be extremely beneficial.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Work across a variety of age groups and educational needs using engaging teaching methods adapted for the specific learning needs of SEND children. 
  • SEND Teachers are expected to work with SEND TAs to implement any support plans that are devised in conjunction with the child’s SENDCO
  • Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons tailored to the specific needs of students with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
  • Create and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for each student.
  • Collaborate with a team of special education professionals, including teaching assistants and therapists, to provide holistic support.
  • Monitor and track student progress, adjusting teaching methods as needed.
  • Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Communicate regularly with parents/guardians and participate in Individualized Education Plan (IEP) meetings.
  • Stay up to date with the latest developments in SLD education and implement evidence-based teaching strategies.
