Nursery Room LeaderSE28

£26,700 - £28,300 per annum + fantastic benefits

We are currently recruiting for a compassionate and committed Nursery Room Leader to take responsibility for the day- to-day running of a class/room within a highly regarded and well-respected nursery whilst ensuring a safe, enjoyable and engaging place to learn for children between 3 months and 1 and a half years old. This is a full-time permanent position with a trusted nursery who can offer the successful candidate a fantastic career opportunity along with excellent benefits.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all aspects of the Statutory Framework for Early Years Foundation Stage and welfare requirements are delivered to the highest standard.
  • Build strong relationships with parents, children and welcome visitors to the Nursery.
  • They are responsible for the general day-to-day running of a nursery group, ensuring that they are creating a stimulating, positive environment for young children.
  • Promote high-quality childcare with fun learning activities and games.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers about their child’s development and progress.
  • Communicate with the authorities if/when needed.
  • Ensure a high standard of inclusivity to ensure children with complex or additional needs are able to flourish and feel included.

What you will receive:

Requirements

The successful Nursery Baby Room Leader will:

  •  Level 3 qualification or higher or QTS (for the QTS position)

  •  The ability to work with young children and their families in a sensitive and positive way.
  •  Creative ideas for activities
  •  An interest in child development
  •  An awareness of child safety issues

The client: The Nurseries are located in North West London in Kentish Town (NW5). They have fantastic Nurseries which are well known amongst the local community. They are looking for experienced qualified nursery practitioners to join their fantastic team.

The children's centre is looking for qualified nursery practitioners who are enthusiastic towards working with children and have a genuine interest in working with children. The role is full-time (Full Time (36 or 40 hours)  for this permanent nursery practitioner position.

The successful candidate must have:

  • Prior experience in working in a childrens centre or working with children.
  • In addition to this the successful nursery practitioner must have a minimum of level 2 NVQ in childcare and be a reliable and punctual individual.
  • DBS or willing to complete a DBS check before they begin employment

But most importantly the successful nursery practitioner must have a passion for working with children and contributing to their Early years development.

The successful nursery practitioner must also be an individual who has a proactive approach to working with children with excellent communicative skills.

The client: The Nurseries are located in South London in Brixton (SW2). They have fantastic Nurseries which are well known amongst the local community. They are looking for experienced qualified nursery practitioners to join their fantastic team.

The children's centre is looking for qualified nursery practitioners who are enthusiastic towards working with children and have a genuine interest in working with children. The role is full-time (40 hours per week)  for this permanent nursery practioner position.
