Permanent Nursery Apprentice Job – Edgware (HA8) – 24 hours a week
Quint Education is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Nursery Apprentice to join a small nursery in Edgware! In this exciting role, you’ll gain valuable experience working alongside qualified childcare professionals while supporting the development and well-being of young children in a nurturing environment.
About the Role:
As a Nursery Apprentice, you’ll play an important role in creating a stimulating and engaging learning environment for our children. You’ll be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
- Supporting qualified staff with daily routines, such as mealtimes, nappy changes, and playtime.
- Engaging children in age-appropriate activities that promote their physical, social, and emotional development.
- Observing and recording children’s progress to support their learning journeys.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and stimulating learning environment.
- Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
You’ll be a great fit if you:
- Are passionate about working with children and have a genuine interest in their development.
- Are reliable, responsible, and have a positive and caring attitude.
- Enjoy working as part of a team and have excellent communication skills.
- Are a quick learner and eager to gain new skills and knowledge.
- Have a basic understanding of child development (desirable but not essential).
