Nursery Manager – Walthamstow

Hours: Full-time and Part-time roles –permanent roles and competitive rates.


Managers Role

The role requires:

· Excellent planning, organisation and IT skills.

· Wonderful communication and the ability to lead, motivate, engage and inspire your team.

· Identify and record training needs and develop training plans for your team.

· Recruiting, inducting, supporting and conducting appraisals and one to one meeting with your team to lead them to success.

· Upskilling the staff within your nursery to ensure that they lead their relevant areas or rooms effectively.

· Budget management including running costs of the nursery.

· Facilitation and readiness of inspections by regulatory bodies and implementation of recommendations. (Ofsted)



Essentials

· Minimum full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification

· Designated Safeguarding Lead

· Safer Recruitment Training.

· Minimum of 2 years recent experience of working in a Nursery/Preschool setting within a Deputy Management role.

· Excellent working knowledge of the current Early Years Inspection Framework.

· Thorough working knowledge of child safeguarding and welfare requirements.

· Strong understanding of health and safety and practical hygiene issues.
