Nursery Manager – Southwark

Job Type: Full-time:  7:30am – 6:30pm (Monday-Thursday)

Location: Southwark

Salary: £36,000.00-£38,000.00 per year

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily running of the nursery provision.

• Recruit for staff vacancies as needed.

• Monitor fees and invoicing for parents.

• Complete show arounds for prospective parents and convert these into registrations.

• Liaise with existing parents to know nursery strengths and areas for focus.

• Lead the nursery successfully through Ofsted inspections.

• Liaise with external professionals who support children or the nursery.

• Ensure the nursery curriculum is embedded in staff practice and staff are confident to know how they are supporting children to develop.

• Lead on any safeguarding concerns which may arise and liaise with relevant agencies.

Qualifications and Skills

• NVQ 3, NNEB, Cache Level 3 or equivalent qualification

• Minimum 2 Years proven management experience of working in a reputed nursery

• Montessori knowledge and experience will be preferred.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• An extensive knowledge of the current EYFS and Ofsted standards and procedures.

• Passion to deliver high quality childcare and exciting learning opportunities.

• Brilliant organisational skills and attention to detail.
