Job Role: Early Years Practitioner

Location: Northwest London – Camden (Children’s Centres)

Salary: Competitive, up to £19 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)

What you’ll do:

  • Play a key role in delivering high-quality integrated daycare and early education.
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to create and implement engaging activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Foster children’s development in a safe, supportive, and inclusive setting.
  • Plan and assess individual learning journeys, tracking progress and celebrating achievements.
  • Partner with families to provide guidance and support, ensuring a smooth transition from home to centre and beyond.
  • Promote a positive learning environment by effectively managing behaviour and implementing inclusive practices.
  • Provide essential care for children, including toileting, feeding, dressing, and basic first aid.
  • Contribute to a dynamic team environment by supporting colleagues and participating in outings and activities.

You’re a great fit if:

  • You hold a Level 3 or above qualification in Early Years education.
  • You have experience working with children aged 3 months to 5 years.
  • You possess a genuine passion for children’s well-being and development.
  • You are a nurturing and patient individual with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You demonstrate excellent organizational and planning abilities.
  • You are a team player with a collaborative and flexible approach.
  • You hold a clean DBS check and have contactable references.
