Job Title: Breakfast & After School Club Manager

Salary: £14.14 per hour including holiday pay Contracted hours: 25 hrs. Per week during Term Time only

Club hours: 7.30 – 9.00am for Breakfast Club & 3.00-6.00pm for After School Club Monday-Friday, 2.5 hours planning and shopping. The hours may vary slightly depending on the school.

Must be committed to working Monday to Friday.

Our client is looking for staff that are passionate about childcare, and are able to deliver quality child care and appropriate age-related play in a safe and interesting environment.

To enable good communications, record keeping and information flow between parents, colleagues, schools and users of our service.

Essential qualities:

Experience of working in a supervisory capacity

Proven leadership skills

Experience working with 4-11 year olds

Experience of administration

Understanding the varied needs of children and their families

Understanding the issues involved in the delivery of quality childcare

Provide and facilitate safe and creative play

Good communication skills

Ability to work on own initiative and as a team member.

Sound judgement and common sense

Experience of working within a play-based setting

Desirable qualities or Training will be given

Appropriate Level 3 qualification

Managing club budgeting

Able to use a computer to support club administration and play

Appropriate child protection training Understanding and promoting equal opportunities in a childcare setting

Current 12 hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate

Food Hygiene Certificate

An understanding of Prevent Duty and Certification.
