Quint Education is recruiting a full-time Nursery Chef for a nursery school located in KT6 Surbiton. We are looking for a friendly, experienced chef, who can manage the kitchen but also be able to work as part of a team.
As a nursery chef in this nursery school, you’ll work in partnership with the nursery team and parents to support the nursery care and education provision. You can expect excellent training and development as well as a caring and passionate place to work.
The successful candidate will be a team player with a positive attitude and the following skills/knowledge:
- Experience of working in a kitchen.
- Previous experience in a nursery or school (Desirable).
- A food safety qualification.
- High levels of organisation and communication skills.
- Skilled in organisation, problem solving and attention to detail.
- Experience of managing allergies and intolerances.
Role Overview:
- To provide a nutritious and well-balanced diet for the children.
- To ensure children’s dietary needs, particularly serious allergies, are met.
- To maintain high standards of hygiene.
- To adhere to food hygiene policies, standard operating processes and legislation.
- Keep accurate records of supplies and order placements as needed within the nursery budget requirements.
