West Drayton (UB7) Afterschool Club Manager (Term Time Only)
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Club Manager to lead our vibrant Afterschool Club in West Drayton (UB7). As the Club Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the club, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all children.
Your Responsibilities:
- Day-to-Day Operations:
- Manage the Afterschool Club (3:00pm-6:00pm) during term time.
- Develop and implement engaging activities and play programs that cater to the different ages and interests of the children.
- Ensure a safe and secure environment for all children by adhering to all safeguarding regulations.
- Maintain accurate records and complete all necessary paperwork.
- Leadership & Communication:
- Build positive relationships with parents and guardians.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including parents, staff, and management.
- Planning & Development:
- Dedicate 1.5 hours per week for planning activities, ordering snacks, and other administrative tasks.
- Continuously develop and improve the club’s programs and services.
- Stay up-to-date on relevant childcare regulations and best practices.
Essential Qualifications:
- A minimum level 3 qualification in childcare or a relevant field.
- Experience working with children in a childcare setting.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- A strong commitment to safeguarding and child protection.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A passion for creating a fun and stimulating learning environment.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience planning and delivering creative activities for children.
