Permanent Nursery Educator (2 Positions) – South Tottenham – N15

Pay: £24,000 to £29,500 per annum (Depending on experience)
Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
About The Organisation
This Nursery is an independent nursery group based in Tottenham, North London with 2 settings. Both are based in 2 beautiful buildings. One site being opened in 2019. Located in a large, red brick Grade II listed building containing many original and interesting features. These nurseries fosters a love of learning through exploration, fun and challenge in a safe place where all children are welcomed and valued and supported to achieve their best from their unique starting point.
The Role & Brief Description Of Duties
- Supporting children in their play, planning for children and tracking development against the EYFS;
- Working as part of a team to ensure the smooth running of the room and fulfilling the personal care needs of the children; and
- Work within the regulatory requirements, policies and procedures.
- A commitment to working in partnership with parents
- Experience of working with the EYFS and the ability to hit the ground running
- A can-do and enthusiastic attitude
- Experience of planning, observing and recording children’s achievements
- Proven skills in positive behaviour management
- Excellent spoken and written English
What We Are Looking For
- A level 3 qualified candidate in childcare or above. (Early years degree, QTS, PGCE, NNEB)
- Has experience working with the children aged 6 months to 5years
- Have strong EYFS knowledge and be able to implement in all activities
- Have strong verbal and writing communication skills
