Our client is an Ofsted rated “Good” Nursery.

The Nursery was set up in 2011. A well-established nursery that provides quality childcare for children from 3 months to 5 years.

The team aims to create an environment where staff, parents, and children all value, respect and care for each other in a happy and relaxed atmosphere.

If you are a Nursery Manager with a minimum of 2 years’ experience with a good track record of leading and developing a nursery team, this is the perfect opportunity for you. You will be passionate about leading and developing the team and to maintain their Ofsted rated “Good” nursery. You will provide a high-quality provision for children in the early year’s age range of 18 months to just under five years, enabling them to learn, develop and thrive.

Are you the right person for the job?

  • 2+ years of management experience
  • You can demonstrate excellent leadership and management skills supporting staff to reach their full potential and work as part of a strong team that Is highly motivated and enjoys working with young children
  • Can work with parents, families, and external agencies, supporting all children in the nursery setting
  • Can demonstrate an ability to act up for the manager in their absence

Competencies:

  • Cache Level 3 / NVQ Level 3 / BA Hons / or equivalent
  • Team leader / people management and staff development experience
  • Understanding of EYFS regulations

What will your role as a Nursery Manager look like?

  • To be responsible for the management of day-to-day financial operations within the pre-school, by meeting financial targets and managing the occupancy ensuring maximum capacity.
  • To manage a staff team effectively. Create a positive mentality.
  • To possess the highest standards and latest knowledge of practice and serve as an example to the other practitioners within the setting.
  • To manage the provision of the pre-school ensuring that children, parents and the staff team work together to provide outstanding quality childcare.
  • To monitor and assess the quality of provision ensuring that policies and procedures, best practice and standards are maintained.
