Level 3 Nursery Practitioner – in Childcare – Immediate Start (Monday – Friday) – Cobham

Quint Education are currently working with a mainstream Nursery that is searching for a competent and experienced Nursery Practitioner to join their team immediately in Cobham.

Location: Cobham (KT11)

Start: ASAP

Hours: Full time 40hrs a week (4 day week with up to 51 days off as part of team ‘5th day on call’ system)

Working Hours: 7:30am – 5:45pm

Part time positions available too (2-5 days a week)

As a Nursery Practitioner you will be working with young children aged 6 months to 5 years old. 

Skills/ Requirements needed for a Nursery Practitioner – 

• Experience working with children under the EYFS curriculum. 

• Have a level 3 Childcare – with placements completed 

• Positive and caring nature

• Ability to work 1:1 and in small groups.

• Working under the guidance of the class teacher/room leader. 

• Personal Care/Nappy changing     

• Able to commit to working Monday – Friday. 

• Be Immediately available.

Responsibilities of the role –

• Providing care to children (emotional, hygiene, and mealtime support)

• Facilitating children’s play, development, and wellbeing

• Planning learning experiences across the seasons and our curriculum

• Having key children and producing reports

• Ensuring safeguarding procedures and health and safety routines are followed

• Build great parent rapport

• Using mobile apps to record and administer child logbooks

• Supporting the set up of camp environments

Salary & Benefits

Salary: £24,000 per annum
