Job Title: Primary School Teacher
Area: Northwest London – Colindale (NW9)
Salary: £120 to 150 per day
Hours: 8:15am to 3:30pm
Reports To: Head Teacher/SENCO/ Year Group Leader
Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated primary school teacher to join our team and provide a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for students aged 5-11. As a primary school teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the intellectual, social, and emotional development of our young learners.
Responsibilities:
- Creating and delivering engaging and effective lessons across the primary curriculum, ensuring alignment with national standards
- Assessing student progress, identifying learning needs, and implementing personalized learning plans
- Fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes collaboration, respect, and a love of learning
- Differentiating instruction to cater to the diverse learning styles and abilities of students
- Collaborating with colleagues, specialists, and parents to ensure the holistic well-being and academic success of each student
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress, communicating regularly with parents, and attending parent-teacher conferences
- Staying up-to-date with educational trends, research, and best practices in primary education
- Actively participating in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge
Qualifications and Experience:
- A QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification
- A degree in a relevant primary education subject or a related field
- Experience teaching across the primary curriculum, demonstrating a strong grasp of core subjects and a passion for instilling a love of learning
- Proven ability to manage a classroom effectively, create engaging lessons, and adapt teaching methods to suit diverse learning styles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- A dedication to child welfare and safeguarding practices, ensuring the safety and well-being of all students
