Qualified Nursery Practitioner – Wembley Park

Hours: 40hrs per week

Summary:

Our client’s nursery is a warm, friendly and comfortable setting that is in Wembley for children between the ages of 0 – 5. Our client also provides a secure and efficient learning environment based on Dr. Maria’s philosophy and principles towards early years education. Together our goal is to provide an excellent and suitable environment for both children to develop and grow.

Both written and verbal skills are desirable so the ability to have great communication skills are key for this role, also experience in keeping records of the children’s development would be appreciated. You should be physically fit enough for the role and able to motivate and do designated tasks given by the senior team for the children’s needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan and implement daily activities that are aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

• Assess children’s progress and development and record their findings.

• Communicate with parents and carers about their child’s progress.

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for children.

• Work as part of a team to provide high-quality care and education.

• Attend training and development opportunities to maintain and improve skills and knowledge

Qualifications:

• Level 2/3 CACHE or NVQ in Childcare or equivalent

• Experience of working with children in an early year setting

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Commitment to providing high-quality care and education.
