What does Quint Education do?
We are an early years and nursery recruitment agency supplying nurseries, schools and specialist settings across London and Essex. We place staff on daily supply, long-term cover and permanent contracts.
How quickly can you provide nursery cover?
For urgent and day-to-day cover we keep a pool of staff on call and work to a 15-minute callback, so you know quickly whether the role can be filled rather than waiting without an answer.
What roles do you recruit for?
Nursery practitioners, room leaders and nursery managers; EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 teachers; teaching assistants and classroom support staff; SEN teaching assistants and class teachers; playworkers and wraparound club staff; and nursery chefs and kitchen assistants.
Which areas do you cover?
London and Essex, including the Home Counties border towns. If you are near a boundary we will consider you for roles on both sides.
What checks do your staff have?
All our staff are DBS checked. We also obtain employment references together with student or voluntary references covering at least the three years prior to placement, and settings receive written confirmation for their single central record.
Do I need a qualification to register as a candidate?
Not always. There is no statutory qualification requirement for teaching assistants in England and many settings recruit on experience. Early years roles are different, because qualifications must be on the Department for Education approved list to count towards staff to child ratios.
Do you recruit permanent staff as well as supply?
Yes. We cover daily supply and emergency cover, long-term placements that often run a full academic year, and permanent recruitment.
